Me & Harrison

Today I asked Robert to get a photo session of me and Harrison because I don't think that we have been photographed together for several months. Of course, Harrison has enough pictures taken to wipe out all the files on my computer, but I needed a few of the 2 of us. Like usual, he prefers to stand out and does not appreciate the fact that I want to share some camera time with him. But Robert managed to capture a couple of cute pictures and here are my favorites. Next it is Robert's turn to be in the spotlight.

Tidal Pools

Yesterday, after calling poison control to find out if red paint, if ingested by a one year old who happens to stick his hand in a jar of it the one second you turn your back, is toxic...Harrison and I headed to the beach. Fortunately, the operator for poison control told me not to worry about it. I did, however, tell them to keep my name on record as I knew this would not be the last time I would call. But after getting the good news, we were off to Jungle Hut Beach to meet up with some friends for a late afternoon of fun in the sand and tidal pools.

Jojo has been very instrumental in teaching Harrison how to chase birds at the beach. As soon as he locked eyes on this flock of seagulls, I knew that we would not be sitting down to relax. Serenity is not the first thing that comes to mind anymore when I think of the beach. Oh well, it's fun to watch him nonetheless.

This spells T.R.O.U.B.L.E

Harrison got to visit with his friend, Sam, this past weekend in Athens. These two are already having fun together and I don't think either one of them is going to have a problem in the shy department. In fact, I hope that these two never end up in a classroom together! But they sure are cute and even though there is a 6 month age difference...they played hard. So hard that Harrison had a melt down when it was time to go. And for those of you who know Harrison, you know that a meltdown is rare.

Just kidding.

These Boots were Made for Walkin

So, my sweet neighbor, Amanda, gave me a pair of hand me down cowboy boots for Harrison a few months back. Yesterday, he found them. And although he won't truely fit into them for another year or 2, he NEEDED to wear them. I put them on his feet for fun and after that, I wasn't allowed to take them away. His rules not mine. I have to say, I was very impressed with his ability to not only pull this look off like it was the next fashion, but to actually walk around and multi task at the same time.

Great Grandmommies

I know I've mentioned this before but Harrison is one lucky boy. He has 3 great grandmothers who shower him with love (and attention) every time they see him. These are a few pictures I took last week when we went to Jacksonville to see Great Grandmommy Nancy and Great Grandmommy Ma. This weekend we will go to Athens and he will get to see Great Grandmommy Mama.

Atlanta/Athens Weekend

This past weekend we headed up to Atlanta for a Georgia tailgate shower for our very good friends, Ryan and KK. On the way we stopped in Athens to spend time with Robert's family and to drop off the little man so we could be baby free for a night. I think everyone had a great time at the shower and Harrison had fun seeing his grandparents and his great grandparents.

Here are some pictures from the tailgate party

And here are some of the activities that Harrison got to enjoy. He fed the geese at the park.

He terrorized the dogs at the dog park

He swam at the Athens Country Club pool

And he found a hole in the ground that he could fit both feet in.
