Beach Bums

School has just ended for summer but you wouldn't know it from the amount of times that we have been to the beach already. These beach bums don't know how good they have got it! For the last few months we have tried to get to the beach at least once a week. Every time we are able to meet up with great friends to get the most out of our little paradise here in Naples.

Birthday Bash Chuck E. Cheese Style

In typical Harrison fashion, we celebrated big for a 6th year of our amazing H Man. Harrison is not shy when it comes to describing his party plans and guests. Robert and I were notified, months in advance, that this year his party would be at Chuck E. Cheese, with a Sky lander theme, and it would consist of all his favorite friends. FYI, that is NOT a small number. A month prior to the big day, Harrison started a countdown of days. It's his go to method for any event that he excited about and it also is his way of letting us know that he has not forgotten, not for one second, that he is going to be doing something fun at the end of that countdown. He is also not shy to the idea of letting anyone and everyone know that it is his birthday. Ask anyone he encountered on the day of his birthday who didn't wish him Happy Birthday in the first 10 seconds of talking to him. Love that kid!


Harrison had a blast at his birthday party. It was the perfect spot to celebrate turning 6 for our guy and he was so pleased to celebrate with so many of his buddies. He even busted out a few break dancing moves during his guitar rock out with Chuck E. Cheese. Classic. And because his latest obsession is Sky Landers, most all of his birthday gifts were able to contribute to his growing collection. It was a great day for him and even with all his birthday attention and excitement, he made sure to thank Robert and I for his party. Sweet boy!

Little Miss Ballerina

This girl is a total hot shot. She loves to ham it up for any opportunity that she is in full costume and wearing makeup. There isn't a shy bone in her body and I'm a little scared that this isn't going to change. Oh well, what can I say, Brooks has got pizazz. These are some pictures that I got of Brooks before her actual "photo shoot" at the ballet studio. She and her bestie, Leah, got to take their photos at the same time so that we could capture some of the fun moments that these two share. They have such great, occasionally bossy, personalities and their friendship is comparable to Lucy and Ethel. Love these girls!
