I know I've alluded to this before in previous posts but getting Harrison to sit still for a posed picture is a lot like herding cats. So, one must be on the move in order to get the perfect shot. Now if you're wondering what's going on in these pictures, here's the run down: We are now in the neighbor's yard because our yard has become too boring, Jojo is a cow, Harrison is a cowboy (who refuses to wear a hat), and the mini sombreros are for the cats, that I am still trying to herd. And yes, I do realize that an insane asylum might be my next stop but here we are still getting ready for Halloween.

Getting Ready for Halloween
For those of you who know me, you know I love Halloween. I'm guessing that Harrison has picked up on my enthusiasm for such an exciting holiday because yesterday he wanted to celebrate. He did this by TPing the entire house while I was checking my e-mail. After I noticed him unraveling the last of the roll, he wanted to show me the rest of his handiwork. I mean, at least he's festive...

Guy Time
It was Robert's turn to get in on some of the overdue camera time with Harrison. We had a fun day out in the yard while throwing the ball for Jojo. Harrison was all smiles until we tried to tie him down for a posed picture. Needless to say, the best photos we have with him are action photos.

Me & Harrison
Today I asked Robert to get a photo session of me and Harrison because I don't think that we have been photographed together for several months. Of course, Harrison has enough pictures taken to wipe out all the files on my computer, but I needed a few of the 2 of us. Like usual, he prefers to stand out and does not appreciate the fact that I want to share some camera time with him. But Robert managed to capture a couple of cute pictures and here are my favorites. Next it is Robert's turn to be in the spotlight.

Tidal Pools
Yesterday, after calling poison control to find out if red paint, if ingested by a one year old who happens to stick his hand in a jar of it the one second you turn your back, is toxic...Harrison and I headed to the beach. Fortunately, the operator for poison control told me not to worry about it. I did, however, tell them to keep my name on record as I knew this would not be the last time I would call. But after getting the good news, we were off to Jungle Hut Beach to meet up with some friends for a late afternoon of fun in the sand and tidal pools.
Jojo has been very instrumental in teaching Harrison how to chase birds at the beach. As soon as he locked eyes on this flock of seagulls, I knew that we would not be sitting down to relax. Serenity is not the first thing that comes to mind anymore when I think of the beach. Oh well, it's fun to watch him nonetheless.
