Trip to Athens for Member/Guest

We hit the road for a fun filled trip to Athens for the Member Guest tournament at the Athens Country Club. While Billy and Robert played, Lee and I enjoyed some fun adventures with the kids. These adventures included lots of swimming, visiting with Mama and Da, lots of bath time, and a lot more swimming. Basically, my kids are fish. And in the evenings, we all got to spend time together and even enjoyed some really fun parties, plus a night of catching fireflies. Robert and I also managed to squeeze in a quick 2 night getaway to the Ritz in Atlanta which was very needed....thank you Lee Lee and Billy for watching the kids!

We all had a great time....minus the car rides to and from. And no need to elaborate on that because I'm still trying to erase it from my memory. The trip was great though and we can't wait to go back!

Ballet Recital 2014

Brooks had another fabulous year of dancing and tapping and proved to us once again that the stage is exactly where she belongs. She did a great job in both dances that she performed in. She and Leah were so good that they even tried to leave the stage at the end of the recital as if to say, we need our own, theatrical exit. Actually, the two of them did try to leave on their own with a stage full of about 100 girls, but it was really because those two are full of mischief and don't care what everyone else is supposed to be doing. Harrison was also a trooper in that he sat through a two and a half hour performance without much protest. Afterwards we celebrated the end of the dance season by swimming at the Owler's new pool. And like all playdates with Leah and Brooks, the evening was completed by going through several different outfit changes and, ultimately, ending up with no clothing at all. Crazy girls!
