Visit with Virginia Anne & Wade

My cousin, Anne, came to visit for a few hours with her children, Virginia Anne and Wade. The kids had a great time splashing by the pool and running around the house. Harrison & Wade might have gone back and forth on the word "mine" about a hundred times while Virginia Anne entertained us all by singing into the microphone. It was a great afternoon and I know that Harrison always enjoys getting to spend time with his DC cousins.

Leigh & Carter's Wedding Weekend

Carter & Leigh were married this past weekend! What a celebration!! Here are some snapshots from some of the fabulous parties that took place. I am not very pleased with the quality of many of the pictures. This is because my camera lens, that was previously broken by an anonymous midget that lives in my house, did not get fixed. Even though I sent it in to Nikon specifically to get fixed. But I'll deal with that later. It was the perfect wedding weekend and a good time was had by all.

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail

It was off to Athens this past weekend for a weekend of Easter egg hunts. Harrison had a practice round in Palm Coast so by the time we got to the Athens Country Club, there was no stopping him. And I mean that literally. He ran past the eggs on the golf course and wanted to move onto the next green. And no doubt he would have run all 18 holes had no one been there to coral him back in. But he had great success in finding plenty of eggs along the way and he also had some good training for the marathon that I intend to sign him up for in the next few weeks.

But there was plenty to do in Athens this weekend besides hunting all those deliciously filled Easter treats. The weather was beautiful so we took the dogs and Harrison on a hike. By hike I mean we walked a few yards until we decided to play in the creek. We played at the playground. We also spent time sitting by the pool while resting up for whatever adventure was next on Harrison's agenda.

It was a great weekend to spend with Lee Lee, Grandaddy Bill, Mama and Da. We had a lot of fun and as you can see, we took more than enough pictures. Way more.
