Boating and Beaching in January

There's not too much I can complain about in the Naples weather department. Sure, if it stays hot for an extended period of time, which it always does, I will voice some frustration with the heat. And I might also sulk at a rainy, cold day when it interrupts my afternoon plans. But all that aside, the weather here is amazing. Especially, when I see the abnormal snow in the rest of the country I realize, we have it pretty good. Here is what we have been able to do with some of that sunshine... in January...

Late Christmas in Athens

We had a fun post Christmas in Athens with all the Lyons clan. We headed up to Athens the day after Christmas, Jojo included, for an extended weekend of family fun. Nat Nat, Zach and Baby Davis came down from DC and we got to spend a lot of time with Mama and Da as well. No trip to Athens would have been complete without someone getting sick and in this case, we all got sick after catching a really awesome stomach bug that managed to attack each of us at a separate time. But aside from that, and the insane car trip moments of our 11 hour car trips to and from, we had a wonderful post Christmas vacation. We spent quality time at an indoor climbing spot, an indoor trampoline center, and had a blast visiting with family.
