It was a beautiful day! We celebrated little Miss Brooksie's Baptism last Sunday on February 27th, 2011. She is such a lucky girl (just like her brother) to have so much family in attendance. Great grandparents, Mama & Da and Ma & Pa were all there and so were her grandparents, Nana & Papa and Lee Lee & Bill. Plus, her aunts and uncles, Leigh & Carter and Holly and Hoyt...and cousin, BeBe. And my aunt, Brooks Holland. And my cousin, Tim and his girlfriend, Lauren.
We greatly missed my grandmother and grandfather, Nancy & Ralph who were not able to be there because Nancy was not feeling well. And we also missed Natalie & Zach but we hope to get a quality visit with them in the near future!
Brooks was in a great mood all day and she looked gorgeous in her baptism gown that was made by my gandmother, Ma. It is the same dress that was worn by Harrison and BeBe. We had a nice visit all weekend with Robert's parents and grandparents while they visited us in Palm Coast. And Brooks' baptism was the perfect finish to a wonderful weekend. We have such an amazing family!

Little Bow Brooks
I'm sure that you can tell by now that Brooks has a bow for almost every occasion. I can't help it, they look so cute on her! Not that she needs much to make her any cuter but I am obsessed with them right now. It also helps that my friend, Shannon, makes these bows so I can keep adding to the collection.
Brooks is growing like a weed and she is really starting to show her personality. She still seems pretty laid back....as long as someone is giving her their full attention. And once she gets your attention, she loves to give you a big smile. I think this is her way of figuring out how to get exactly what she wants.
And Brooks and Harrison continue to be best buds. I know that once she is able to talk back to him or snag a toy of his that there will be some minor disturbances in their relationship, but for right now, I love how she is so entertained by her big brother and he is so sweet to his little sister. Harrison even has to give Brooks a kiss before bed every night....so sweet. I love them!

Waterfront Park
This past weekend was perfect for being outside. The weather was so nice plus we had nothing on the agenda so on Saturday, we took a little adventure to Waterfront Park. This was a short adventure because Harrison decided to go swimming in the water almost as soon as we got there. But energy was released and that is the main reason we like to get out in the first place. Jojo also had the time of his life running into the water and chasing birds.
Athens Weekend
Last weekend we went to Athens for a variety of reasons. We celebrated Da's 85th birthday, Robert and I went to our friends' engagement party, and I went to my good friend, Crista's, baby shower. I wasn't very good about getting pictures but here are a few from the weekend.
Crista and her cousin, Amanda, came over after the shower to see Harrison and Brooks. Harrison and Amanda's daughter, Avery, hit it off immediately.

Samurai Sword Fight
In his continual pursuit to conquer the planet, Harrison decided to take up sword fighting against his usual arch nemesis, Annie. Here they are in combat mode and in case you are wondering who actually won this battle, let's just say, I had to do a little editing of this video so that I didn't have to showcase the dramatic meltdown of losing a foam sword to a dog!
