There must be a storm brewing somewhere. Just look at what the tide brought in...crazy, little sea creatures that are sure to destroy the beach if given the opportunity. Beach goers beware!

Birthday Celebration
The Captain turned 2 yesterday. But don't be fooled, the birthday celebration will last for an entire week. Harrison had a fun filled day of playing with friends, eating cupcakes, talking to his grandparents on the phone, then playing with more friends. He also managed to rake in quite a stash of birthday gifts. I might mention that he needs more toys like I need more shoes in my closet, but seeing as neither of these 2 predicaments are going to change, let's move on.
The big guy also celebrated his birthday (and his uncle Carter's birthday) the night before at Nana & Papa's house. And we are off to Disney on Sunday which should cap off an entire week of birthday festivities. It's hard to believe that 2 years have gone by since our wild man was born and we have enjoyed every second of it. Happy Birthday Harrison! We love you very much!!

Happy Mother's Day
It was a Mother's Day celebration at my parent's house in Jacksonville. Harrison got to spend time with his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and his new cousin, BeBe.

1st Day of School
Sure, most kids and parents associate the beginning of May with school ending. But not me. Harrison is turning 2 this month and I got the green light to start him in preschool. So for the month of May, my little scholar will be in class twice a week. I am going to miss him while he is in school but I'm pretty confident that I will find a way to pass the time while he gets an education.
My Buddies
I think it is safe to say that most people who know Harrison, know that he is a pretty sociable guy. He is , most definitely, a people person. Nevermind the endless conversations that I have to carry on at the grocery store because Harrison has enamored some lady as he yells "hi" to her from across the store. Or his ability to strike up a conversation with the cashier who asks me what he is saying and I have to respond "your guess is as good as mine" which I am sure leaves the impression that I have stopped paying attention to anything Harrison is doing. Little does she know that I have been talking to every customer in the store because Harrison has had this SAME conversation with each person.
Most importantly, Harrison likes to be sociable with his buddies in Palm Coast. We have made some really good friends in the last year and here are some pictures of these kiddos as they play in the pool and at the park. They always have a good time together and it is so much fun to watch them play.
