Sunday Lunch at the Conch House

We met my grandparents at the Conch House in St. Augustine last Sunday and here are some of the pictures we got. Now that our camera is back in action I plan to be much better about updating our blog. At least, these are my intentions...

Sweet Dreams

This is what trouble looks like. I can understand trying to climb out of a crib but into one??? Don't be fooled. Not a single one of them was looking for a place to nap. The crib was simply a climbing device that needed to be conquered before moving onto their next challenge.

We're back. This time in video.

So...it's been a while since I've been able to post any pictures. Our camera got sent off, once again, for repairs. And even though I have had this flip camera for over a month, I just figured out how to post videos onto my blog. Sure, it took me a little while (I'm not usually very technically inclined) but the point is, I did it...by myself. Next stop, NASA.

And here are some videos of Harrison as he takes on the swimming pool . He has been quite the fish this summer and even though he has not mastered swimming with his head out of the water, I'm pretty sure that he developed some kind of gill which has allowed him to stay under the water for an abnormal amount of time. I'm going to go ahead and assume that he will be getting a dive tank and flippers for his 3rd birthday...in case anyone was already on the hunt for his next big event.

Little Lady Lyons

Not that you can you can really see anything from the ultrasound picture but here she is...all 10 ounces of her. Robert and I were convinced that Harrison was about to have a baby brother but that is not the case. I am sure that this little girl will be filled with all kinds of surprises. And we are so excited to meet her!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

It's been a busy week! We were visited by some of our favorite people all week long. We got to spend time with Nat Nat (Aunt Natalie) early in the week. On Friday, our friends, Reint, Angel, and Finn came to visit. Saturday we got to see Nana for a few hours. And Amy came to spend Sunday and Sunday night with us. Plus, we spent some time with our Palm Coast friends out at the beach on Sunday. What a treat!

We've had such a nice week and tomorrow we will go to find out if Harrison is getting a brother or a sister. This little baby needs to rest up for the next 4 months because he or she is going to need to keep up with one energetic brother!

Sea Creatures

There must be a storm brewing somewhere. Just look at what the tide brought in...crazy, little sea creatures that are sure to destroy the beach if given the opportunity. Beach goers beware!

Birthday Celebration

The Captain turned 2 yesterday. But don't be fooled, the birthday celebration will last for an entire week. Harrison had a fun filled day of playing with friends, eating cupcakes, talking to his grandparents on the phone, then playing with more friends. He also managed to rake in quite a stash of birthday gifts. I might mention that he needs more toys like I need more shoes in my closet, but seeing as neither of these 2 predicaments are going to change, let's move on.

The big guy also celebrated his birthday (and his uncle Carter's birthday) the night before at Nana & Papa's house. And we are off to Disney on Sunday which should cap off an entire week of birthday festivities. It's hard to believe that 2 years have gone by since our wild man was born and we have enjoyed every second of it. Happy Birthday Harrison! We love you very much!!
