Kelli's Lingerie Shower

I hosted a lingerie shower for my good friend, Kelli this past Saturday. The party turned out great and so I had to post a few pics from the shower.

Franklin, NC

Harrison, my mom, and I headed up to North Carolina this past week to spend time with family. My aunt and uncle, Brooks and John Rob, have built a beautiful house in Franklin so we went to stay with them along with my cousin, Anne, and her 2 kids, Virginia Anne and Wade. Harrison and Wade are becoming great friends already...they really don't have a choice. And if you saw Harrison right now you would think he had been through the ringer a couple of times. He is covered in scratches and has a possible black eye! That's because he has discovered rolling down a steep hill is fun. So is slip n sliding down a hill. And so are stairs. Yes that's right, he loves stairs - even though he fell down a small flight of them the 1st night we were there. There is no stopping this man. I cannot figure out how to make him fearful of anything!

But anyway, we had an awesome time being in the mountains. We ate, went shopping, had some laughs and even watched the 3 kids put on a show for us. They are mighty talented!

Crystal River

Last weekend we went camping and scalloping with our friends on the west coast of Florida. Not a whole lot of scallops were found but we did manage to catch a few. It was like a big Easter egg hunt in the water. Lots of fun and a little too much sun. Our backs got fried! I think Cassie was the only one who put on enough sun screen but she did manage to get attacked by a jelly fish...ouch!

Morning at the Park

Harrison and I met our neighbors at the park this morning to get the day started. We got some good playtime in and Harrison made sure to explore every inch of the park before we left. We both had a good workout!

Robert's Birthday Beach Bash

We went to Mantanzas Inlet last Saturday for Robert's birthday. We had a great time with our friends but I think we will boycott that particular beach from now on. Apparently, the "patrol" on the beach are against anyone having a good time. Or maybe we just looked like trouble, who knows. But the friendly beach patrol officer decided to ticket Robert because our dog, Jojo was off his leash....chasing the frisbee. Thanks officer! What a great way to celebrate someone's birthday!!

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that my dog looked like it was going to attack someone right now. Oh wait, there is no one around us for him to attack. Maybe the beach cop just thought he was a little too aggressive with the frisbee.

By the way, if anyone NEEDS to be on a leash it's this guy right here. Look at him. Getting ready to attack all the unsuspicious beachgoers.

Here is the beach diva I mean, beach cop giving Robert a ticket. Look at how she gives Jojo the stare down. This cop means business. Way to stop crime on the beach officer! Good work!
