It's been quite a while since I last posted anything but I think I have a pretty good excuse. Between the nesting and bringing home baby and oh yeah, wrangling a 2 and a half year old after rocking his whole world with a new sibling, I simply have not had enough time to do much of anything. But not to worry, I now have plenty of ammo for my future posts so get ready for an overload of pictures and whatever else I decide to write about.
Miss Brooks was born October 18th at 11:03 in the morning and she weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces. She is so adorable and I think we have decided to keep her. Harrison has adjusted surprisingly well and insists on giving her kisses at every opportunity. And when I say opportunity, I have a feeling that means whenever he thinks we are watching so that he can get showered with praise and the occasional "you deserve a treat for being such a good big brother". Plus, I have a sneaking suspicion that he thinks she may be "going back" at some point which could make for a very interesting ordeal in the near future. BUT for now, he's happy so we are ALL happy.
Here are some pictures of our little princess from her 1st days in the hospital. We are so in love with her and are very excited about this new chapter in our lives. Life has just become even more interesting!
She's so beautiful!!
