We are getting ready for the holidays and my kids can not contain their excitement. You would have thought we had just given Harrison his bag of hidden Halloween candy plus a few soda cans to wash it all down. He is at such a cute stage where he wants to help with EVERYTHING. So it took a little longer than expected to get all the decorations into their proper locations. Not to mention, the tree has provided an excellent fort for them to crawl behind. Let's not forget the year that Harrison pulled the tree onto himself. I wouldn't expect anything less from this year.
Harrison is really getting into the Christmas spirit this year and we are having a great time watching all of his excitement. We have, of course, been using it to our advantage for the last several months that Santa is watching him to make sure he behaves. There have been a few instances that Harrison has has little regard for Santa's propositions but as far we're concerned, he's been a very good little boy. And Brooks is excited with anything that her brother is doing so she is also ready for all the festivities. She seems to know something fun is happening and just wants to be part of it. Here they are in the 2 day stint that it took us to get the tree and get it decorated.
