Weekend in Greensboro for Nancy's & Caldwell's Wedding
Harrison, Brooks, my awesome babysitter, Preslie, and I headed up to Greensboro for my cousin's wedding. No, unfortunately I do not have any pictures of the actual wedding festivities but I do have several from the pool at the Greensboro Country Club. Harrison did a few flips and jumps off the diving board with uncle Carter and later, Brooks, Harrison, Virginia Anne and Wade played on the pool steps. I wish I had some pictures of the evening because the bride, Nancy, looked amazing and the wedding was fantastic. Robert was not able to make it because he was in Athens playing in the Member/Guest Tournament. I might also mention that he and his dad came in 2nd for their group. Not bad! I'm hoping that he can start winning a few more tournaments so that I can work it to my advantage to start taking Preslie with us on all of our vacations...that would really be nice!

Sweet Baby Bowers
This little girl is about the most delicious thing ever! I got to spend my birthday with 2 of my best girls, Amy and Bowers. We had an afternoon of lunch, shopping, and hanging out and it was the perfect way to spend a birthday afternoon!
Cousins
Last week, Harrison & Brooks got to spend some quality time with their cousin, Bebe. These three are trouble but pretty adorable at the same time.

Athens Visit
Fun times were had once again as we ventured to Athens for almost an entire week. And I'd say about 50 % of that time was spent in a pool. Even Brooks is kicking up her water confidence and tackling the pool. She's still pretty wary of going into deeper waters, especially with me, but that didn't stop her from splashing around on the steps and occasionally, missing a step only to fall right into the pool. The kids had a great time playing at the Athen's Country Club Pool, playing with their new friends, Boone and Anna, and catching a variety of bugs in Lee Lee and Bill's yard. Harrison has developed an obsession with bugs and he managed to catch fireflies, ladybugs, rolly pollies, butterflies, spiders, a frog, a skink, and several worms. He is definitely my son! Even Brooks enjoys a good bug hunt when she's not too busy bossing people around to hold her or get her what she wants.
Robert and I also got to spend a night away, in Atlanta, for a friend's wedding which happened to be a ton of fun. And, as always, we were very happy to spend some time with Mama and Da during our mini vacation to Athens. Great trip!
