We enjoyed another festive and fun Halloween this year! The day started off like all holiday shuffles...first I went to Harrison's school to help organize and participate in his classroom's "fall festival". The kids had a great time making crafts, gorging on treats, and getting crazy with a few rounds of freeze dance. After Harrison's party I darted over to Brooks' school to watch her and all her classmates go trunk or treating which was completely adorable.
That evening we geared up for a night of trick or treating. And even though our neighborhood is known for it's outrageous Halloween decor and crowds, we decided to keep it a little more low key and manageable by going to our friends' neighborhood. The kids had a ball running from house to house and raking in large quantities of unneeded sugar. Well, I should say, Harrison and Owen had fun going from house to house...Brooks managed to stay in her normal diva mode of staying in the wagon as we wheeled her over to someone who could hand her a piece of candy. True to form, she never got out of the wagon and reminded us that she didn't "need" to walk. After the trick or treating we played with friends and were able to run off some of the over indulged candy energy. Great night with great friends!
