Easter In Athens

Well, the Easter Bunny decided to visit us in Athens and Harrison couldn't have been more pleased. We had a weekend adventure of hunting eggs, fishing in the pool, chasing Harrison down a golf course, dying Easter eggs, and most importantly, visiting with family. Harrison has grown up so much in the last few months and it was so much fun to watch his excitement with everything that the weekend had to offer. One difficult aspect to the weekend was keeping Harrison in clothing. He has a small obsession with trading out one pair of superhero underware for the next and he will do this multiple times throughout the day. The biggest problem with this little scenario is that he will forget to actually put on the new pair leaving him naked and free as a bird forcing someone to chase him down and strategically convince him that he should wear something, if nothing else, a new pair of underware. Lucky for us, some of Harrison's Easter eggs were filled with brand new pairs of Spiderman underware. It was a win win situation.

And sweet, little Brooks had a very entertaining weekend as well. She was super busy showing everyone how active and alert that she has become. I guess that some of her acute interest in watching her brother has finally paid off because she can "crawl" or should I say "scoot" from one side of the room to the next. She also enjoyed splashing in the baby pool next to her brother. She didn't even mind when he dive bombed into the pool while splashing her in the face. These two were definitely made for each other.

We all had a great time visiting with family and Harrison and Brooks are lucky kids to have so many people that love them and want to spend time with them. We had a wonderful Easter and are looking forward to many more holidays with fun filled adventures.
