Tadpoles

I love frogs. I always have. Not really sure where this obsession came from but I suspect that it had a lot to do with the "frog hunts" that I used to go on when I would stay with my grandparents. My grandparents, Ma and Pa, would take me in the yard and we would find frogs..tons of them...at least, that's how it seemed when I was little.

Harrison seems to love frogs too. Actually, he likes almost anything that Robert and I have an interest in. Snakes, frogs, Georgia football...which is why, when I pointed out tadpoles in the water and he became extremely interested, I decided we needed to catch a few and watch them grow. Only for a few days, of course. So, we went out on a tadpole catching adventure.

Brooks was along for the ride, just as any adventure, and happy to do so. I'm anxiously waiting for her to become just as interested in these things so we can have our own Extreme Animal Adventure team. Robert was there to photograph our backyard Amazon extravaganza. AND to remind us that there was severe lightning outside so we needed to wrap things up. Good thing he did because as soon as we got back to the front yard, it started pouring rain! Good thing one of us is practical!
